When we usually think about the oil, we immediately associate it with food, forgetting that since the discovery of the fire its fundamental use was to make light. Thus, the most used lighting system in homes was, for many centuries, the one based on ceramic lamps.
With this workshop we will learn in a practical way how the manufacturing process of a Roman lucerna was. Moreover, we will have the opportunity to create one of its own.
