The banners in Medieval times, identity signs

Ages: from 6 to 14 years old. Workshop adaptable to each age bracket.

Workshop duration: 1 hour and a half approximately.

Location: interior / exterior

During the Middle Ages, the banners rose as the identity sign of each noble house, whether they were kings or noble families.

With colourful tones and symbolic elements that represented them, the language of the banners spread throughout the territories.

In the battlefield or in the great noble meetings, the banners waved to the air the origin of those who brought them and the story that preceded them.

In this workshop we will make our own banner fabric, decorating it later with paintings that will tell the history of our clan or family through symbolic elements.
